In the entry way between the woodworking rooms and textile room is a HP Slate 21 (it is under the monitor with the bus schedule and other info). It runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_KitKat).
It can be used to monitor the environment at Hacklab:
- air quality
- sound levels
These elements and sensors need controllers to feed the data to an SBC (Single Board Computer) which processes the measurements and sends it to the HP Slate.
Hacklab did have one Raspberry Pi for that, but that project has been outdated. Here is the link: https://wiki.tampere.hacklab.fi/tyotilat/raspberry_pi_automaatio
