Koska hacklabillä ei ole henkilökuntaa myös sen ylläpito on jäsenistön vastuulla. Hacklabin ylläpito muodostuu esimerkiksi omien jälkien siivoamisesta, roskisten tyhjäämisistä, koneiden korjaamisesta yms.

Huomioithan kuitenkin, että WC-tilojen siivouksesta vastaa nykyään palkattu siivooja.

Hacklabin sisääntulosta löytyneet viikoittaisia ylläpitotehtäviä (kuva 1) ja niiden sijainteja (kuva 2) esittäneet taulut eivät enää ole käytössä. Taulut tarjosivat aiemmin selkeän näkymän ylläpitotehtävien jakautumisesta sekä eri tilojen roskien ja huollon tarpeista.

Vaikka taulut on poistettu, niiden sisältö on edelleen hyödyllistä jäsenten opastamisessa ja ylläpidon organisoinnissa. Jäseniä kannustetaan edelleen suorittamaan ylläpitotehtäviä, kuten roskien tyhjentämistä, laitteiden huoltoa ja siisteyden ylläpitoa omilla jäljillään.

Tarvittaessa ylläpitotehtävien jakautumisesta ja sijainneista voi keskustella yhteisön viestintäkanavissa, ja mahdollisia uusia ohjeita voidaan päivittää näkyviin labin tiloihin tai sähköisiin järjestelmiin.

Hacklabilla käytetään ota mitat ja tee -periaatetta (suunnilleen sama kuin Do-ocracy). Jos haluat parantaa labia jollain tavalla, senkun vain teet niin.

Jos on kuitenkin epäilystä, että keksimäsi parannus ei ole jonkun mieleen, kysy ensin muilta jäseniltä, mitä mieltä he ovat muutoksesta. Jos muutos ei miellytä kaikkia, parempi jättää tekemättä. Isommista ja rahankäyttöä vaativista muutoksista tulee aina kysyä hallitukselta tai yhteisömiitissä.

Hacklabilla jätteet lajitellaan yleisten hyvien tapojen mukaisesti mm. puu-, puru-, metalli- bio- ja sekajätteeksi, sekä vaaralliseksi jätteeksi. Lisäohjeita jätteen lajitteluun https://pjhoy.fi/lajitteluhaku/
Jäteastioilla ei ole virallista tyhjentäjää, joten jokaisen jäsenen on syytä osallistua tarvittaessa niiden tyhjentämiseen. Seka- ja biojätteelle löytyy keräyspisteet kiinteistön pihasta. Muut jätteet voi kuljettaa esimerkiksi labin peräkärryllä läheiselle Nekalan jäteasemalle https://pjhoy.fi/jäteasema/tampereen-jateasemat/.

• Sekajäte: Labilla on muutamia jätesäkillä varustettuja sekajäteroskiksia. Kun säkki tulee täyteen, vaihda tilalle uusi jätesäkki ja vie täysi säkki pihalla olevaan jätepuristimeen. Se harmaa metallinen kontti siinä piipun juuressa.
• Puujäte:
  • Polttopuuksi kelpaava puu: Paloitellaan noin 35 cm pätkiksi niille varattuihin laatikoihin.
  • Levynpalaset, polttopuuta pienemmät palikat yms.: Puupuolelle Puujäte-roskiksiin. Tyhjentäkää Puujäte-roskikset jatkossa (16.3.2022→) pihan jätepuristimeen.
  • Purut, lastut, tikut: Sekajäteastiaan. Palaa Tammervoimassa iloisella liekillä.
  • Painekyllästetty puu: Tätä ei pidä työstää sisätiloissa, puru ja jämäpalat ovat vaarallista jätettä. Toimita esim. Nekalan jäteasemalle.
• Metalli: Lastauslaiturilla olevaan keräyslaatikkoon.
• Biojäte: Kiinteistön pihassa sijaitsevaan biojäteastiaan. Jätepuristimen vieressä. Vie heti pois haisemasta. Kiitos.
• SER eli sähkö- ja elektroniikkaromu: Harmaa pussiton roskis sijaitsee elektroniikkapuolella.
• Vaarallinen (ent. ongelma-)jäte: Paristot, akut, maalit, lakat, liuottimet, öljyt yms. Ei keräystä labilla – vie itse vaarallisen jätteen keräyspisteeseen, esimerkiksi Nekalan jäteasemalle.
• Pullot ja tölkit Keräyspiste löytyy keittiöstä.
• Isot esineet: Vie itse pois labilta.

Kiinteistön jäteastioiden sijainti:

Välillä jotain hajoaa tai havaitset jonkun asian/esineen hajonneen. Jos hajonnut asia oli arvokas (luokkaa kymmeniä euroja), ilmoita asiasta hallitukselle ja sovitaan korvauksesta.

Poranteriä katkeilee jatkuvasti. Jos olet kova katkoja, osta labille vaikka uusi setti rautakaupasta, niin olemme sujut.

Myös vannesahan terä katkeaa välillä. Ei kannata hermostua, mutta kannattaa ilmoittaa hallitukselle tai jollekin joka osaa sen vaihtaa. Tärkeintä on, että kone ei ole poissa käytöstä turhaan.

Täytä eteisen siniseen lainaus/hajoamisvihkoon havainnot (nimi, päivämäärä, mitä) Esim. “John Doe, 27.9.2021, kampikammion kattovalo palanut”.

Since Hacklab does not have staff to maintain it, it is the responsibility of the members. Hacklab maintenance consists, for example, of cleaning up your own tracks, emptying of bins, repairing machines, etc.

The tables presenting weekly maintenance tasks (picture 1) and their locations (picture 2) are no longer in use. The boards previously provided a clear view of the distribution of maintenance tasks and the needs of the trash and maintenance of different facilities.

Although the boards have been removed, their content is still useful in guiding and organising maintenance of members. Members are still encouraged to perform maintenance tasks such as emptying of rubbish, maintenance of equipment, and maintenance of cleanliness on their own.

If necessary, the distribution and locations of maintenance tasks can be discussed in the community’s communication channels, and any new instructions may be updated to visible Lab facilities or electronic systems.

The hacklab uses the 'measure and make' principle (as well as 'Do-ocracy'). If you want to improve the Lab in some way, just do that.

If you have suspicion that somebody is not happy with the idea that you have, ask from other members what they think of your idea of improvement. If idea does not please others, it is better to be left unimplemented. Larger and money involving changes must be always be approved by administration or in community meetings.

General rule: use common sense.

At Hacklab, waste is sorted, in accordance with common good practices, into wood, sawdust, metal, bio-, and mixed waste, as well as hazardous waste. Hacklab does not have a designated person to empty the waste containers, so each member should be involved in their emptying, when necessary. Mixed and biowaste have collection points in the property yard. Other wastes can be transported by lab trailer, for example, to a nearby Nekala waste station https://pjhoy.fi/jäteasema/tampereen-jateasemat/.

• Mixed waste (sekajäte): The lab has a few mixed waste bins with a waste bag. When the bag is full, replace it with a new waste bag and take the full bag to the waste compactor. It is located outside at the parking area near the smoke stack.
• Wood waste (puujäte):
  • Wood suitable for firewood:: Cut into 35 cm pieces, and place in the boxes reserved for them.
  • Pieces of board, blocks smaller than firewood, etc .: Please discard your wood waste in the yard waste compactor.
  • Chips, shavings, sticks: Into the mixed waste Sekajäte-bins. Do not put these in Puujäte-bins because they form an awful dust cloud when emptied in to waste compactor. Burn in Tammervoima with a happy flame.
  • Pressure impregnated wood: : This should not be worked indoors, chips and debris are hazardous waste. Deliver to Nekala waste station.
• Metal: Into a collection box on the loading dock.
• Bio waste (biojäte): To a biowaste bin in the parking area, next to the waste compactor. Take away the smelly food scraps etc. immediately. Please. Please. Please.
• Electronic waste (SER): A grey bagless bin is located on the electronics side.
• Hazardous waste (or problematic waste): Batteries, accumulators, paints, varnishes, solvents, oils, etc. No collection at the lab - take the hazardous waste to a collection point, for example to the Nekala waste station.
• Drink bottles and cans A collection point can be found in the kitchen. Drink cans and bottles include a deposit so don't crush them..
• Large objects: Take them away yourself.

Location of waste containers of property:

Sometimes something breaks down or you notice something/objects broken down. If the disintegrated matter was valuable (rated tens of euros), notify the board of the matter and agree on compensation.

The drill bites are constantly broken. If you're a tough break, buy a new set for the lab from a hardware store, we're going to be fine.

The blade of the band saw sometimes also break. You don't want to get nervous, but you should notify the government or someone who can change it. The important thing is that the machine is not disabled for nothing.
